Who I Am

Bridging security, privacy, and machine learning

I currently work as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at North Western University (NWU), Khulna, Bangladesh. My research sits at the intersection of security and intelligent systems — spanning cybersecurity, applied cryptography, privacy-preserving machine learning, explainable artificial intelligence, federated learning, medical AI, and natural language processing.

I completed my BSc in Computer Science and Engineering at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) in 2021, and my MSc at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) under the supervision of Professor Dr. Kazi Md. Rokibul Alam.

Alongside teaching and research, I've spent more than three years mentoring the NWU Programming Community, helping students sharpen their programming and problem-solving skills.

What I Study

Research interests

Seven threads that run through my papers, one connecting question: how do we build intelligent systems that are accurate, explainable, and trustworthy with the data they touch.

01
Cybersecurity

Securing systems and data pipelines against evolving threats.

02
Applied Cryptography

Practical cryptographic protocols for real-world secure systems.

03
Privacy-Preserving ML

Training accurate models without exposing raw, sensitive data.

04
Explainable AI

Making model decisions interpretable with tools like SHAP and LIME.

05
Federated Learning

Distributed training across clients like hospitals, with no raw data shared.

06
Medical AI

Diagnostic and predictive models for clinical decision support.

07
Natural Language Processing

Understanding and classifying real-world text, including low-resource Bangla.
